This was part of the group from our photo walk on January 26th. What a great group of guys. (Sonia was great too!)

Articles

On Tuesday and Wednesday the site was completely hosed. But we’ve rallied and ended up having our best week yet on Out Of Chicago!

Wednesday I introduced you to our new Chicago architecture expert, Wendy Bright. On Thursday we published Wendy’s first article, an architectural history of the Chicago Cultural Center for photographers. This article has already become one of the most popular articles on the site! Just wait to see what she has in store for her next one.

On Friday, we had an interview with possibly my favorite architectural photographer, Luis dos Santos. Luis let us in on a bunch of his photo editing secrets. I’ve already been trying to implement them into my post-processing. Luis takes over the blog tomorrow with an excellent guest post.

If you’re worried about missing any of these articles, sign up for the Out Of Chicago Newsletter in the right sidebar (which I’m finally going to start sending out!). This week I will be introducing Tony Reynes as our resident Photoshop expert and all-around great guy.

Photo Walk

Last night we had our HDR One/Out Of Chicago Photo Walk at Lincoln Park and North Avenue Beach. What a great group we had. Some of my favorite Chicago photographer friends were there and I got to finally meet some of my other favorite Chicago photographers. Don’t forget to post your images to the event page for a chance to be featured on HDR One.

Monday night we will have a Google Hangout at our Out Of Chicago Google+ Community at 9PM. Bring some of your images from the walk that you are working on. I have a couple that I would like your opinions on and I’ll do the same for you. Find the event on the events page at Google+ to sign up. I will also quickly go over my HDR workflow for those that are interested.
