Slow Rise

This is another shot from the beach at the Evanston Art Center and Grosse Point Lighthouse Beach. I was almost lying down on the beach trying to frame the sun between these old pier pilings.

Exhibit by Eric Holubow at the Chicago Cultural Center

I’ve mentioned this guy before. He’s got a lot of great urban exploration photos from Chicago and the surrounding area.  The opening reception for the exhibit is tomorrow night.  You can get more details about the exhibit, Eric Holubow: In Decay-Stitching America’s Ruins, here.  He is giving an artist talk May 24th, which may be a fun night to learn something about a different type of photography than you’re used to. You can follow Eric on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/eholubow/.

While you are at the cultural center, take the time to get some photos of the beautiful interiors if you haven’t already.
