Out of Chicago Spring Wisconsin Lighthouse Workshop

Dates 5/5/17 – 5/7/17

Details  This photography workshop centers around the light houses in Wisconsin. Here is a chance to visit some beautiful lighthouses and navigation markers that are a little closer to Chicago. Their design ranges from the very traditional to open beacon towers that are very different looking. Some of the buildings are situated so you can walk right up to them while others are in the water and need to be shot with a long lens. The tour will consist of 3 days and two nights. 8-10 light houses would be visited in Wisconsin, starting with Racine on the south and ending with Door County on the north. There will be dawn and sunset shots, weather permitting. We will spend a maximum of 2 hours at each site, giving time to shoot and receive individual instruction. We will suggest and help arrange carpooling. We will stay in a different hotel each night. The price includes instruction, hotels and transportation. The group would be capped at 10 people who have signed up.

Leaders Keith French and Tony Reynes will lead the event. Both have strong credentials for teaching and leading events. See credentials for both Keith and Tony
