Last year I went to Photoshop World in Las Vegas for the first time. There were many highlights, like hanging out with Levi Sim, breakfast with the Photofocus team, partying with the photographers at the Pinball Hall of Fame, and my first time seeing Lindsay Adler present.
I immediately fell in love with her presentation style, her confidence on stage, her lighting techniques and the content she was teaching. The room was full, easily 200+ people, and she glided on stage like it was nothing with a live model and tons of lights! I knew I could not wait for her to be one of our presenters at an Out of Chicago event.
As a Canon Explorer of Light, we were so lucky to have Lindsay as our keynote speaker for us at our portrait event in the spring. This time, she didn’t show off her wicked lighting skills, but she inspired us to be creative and find ways to become better photographers. She was amazing yet again!
Now? How lucky are we that we are going to be in HER hometown of New York City! Lindsay is going to speak to our full audience on Friday morning from 10-11 a.m. Then on Friday evening, starting at 5:00, Lindsay is taking a small group of lucky participants on a photowalk through the NYC High Line (check out the details of this cool “park,” thehighline.org) and back to her personal studio!
While you’re there, you will get the opportunity to shoot with some of her favorite studio lighting setups as she walks the group through concept, tools and techniques. Since there will be professional models there, I don’t think you can have this type of experience anywhere else!
If you’re not familiar with Lindsay’s work, she’s a top NYC fashion photographer and amazing educator. She started photographing when she was only 15 years old, and has made a successful business in a short period of time. Her lighting techniques and her creativity result in dramatic, colorful, and bold images that have been published in top magazines such as Marie Claire, InStyle, Elle, Rangefinder and many more! Check out her work at lindsayadlerphotography.com.
I am personally so excited to have Lindsay speak again, and heading to her studio in NY is going to be epic! We are limiting this awesome experience to 15 people, keeping it small and intimate. For just $299, you will get hands-on experience photographing the models, learning lighting techniques and getting small group attention from Lindsay.
I can’t wait, and I sure hope you’ll join me there too! Sign up at outofnewyork.com. If you can’t join the full conference, but want to join us for Lindsay’s workshop, email me at email@example.com and I will help get you signed up!
